This data point measures the total volume of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) consumed by company-owned or directly controlled vehicles during the reporting year, reported in liters. LPG is commonly used as an alternative vehicle fuel, particularly in light-duty vans, cars, and some specialized equipment.

What to include:

  • LPG used in:

    • All company-owned or directly controlled road vehicles

    • Both light-duty and heavy-duty LPG-powered vehicles

  • All fueling events within the reporting period

  • Data from supplier fueling statements, receipts, or fleet management systems

What not to include:

  • LPG used for stationary equipment or heating (covered under stationary combustion data points)

  • LPG purchased but not consumed during the reporting year

  • Fuel used by leased or contractor-operated vehicles outside your operational control

Estimation Methodology:

  • If full-year data is incomplete:

    • Compile actual consumption for all available months

    • Calculate the monthly average

    • Multiply by the number of missing months

    • Add the estimate to the actual total
