Scanner is the document analysis module. Users upload internal compliance documents — policies, contracts, certifications, NDAs, and similar files — and run AI-powered risk assessment against configurable checklists.

Supported formats include PDF, Word, Excel, CSV, plain text, images, and audio (with transcription). Maximum file size is 25 MB. For each document, the user selects a document type; Regumeter evaluates key compliance points and returns pass/fail results with confidence scores and severity levels (critical, high, medium, low).

Scanner supports optional anonymization of sensitive data before analysis, document comparison against reference files or policy documents, and organization of files into projects for audit packages or due-diligence reviews. Analyzed documents can be sent directly to Approvals for multi-step sign-off.

Managers can configure analysis criteria via Document Analysis Config and adjust company settings at any time.
